Mohanlal is undoubtedly one of the finest actors of India.
The movie 'Irupathaam Nootandu' and it's main character 'Sagar Alias Jacky' played by MohanLal was a negative shaded character.But still the movies stays in the minds of Malayalis.

But In his latest so called action thriller movie 'Sagar alias Jacky', as in many of his recent movies Mohanlal appearing as super human who always emerges triumphant.
The director Amal Neerad tried to make some stylish action thriller but ended up by making a movie which reminds us of the movies like Billa or D Company.
The main features of the movie are the stylish sequences,slow motion action cuts and background music.
Apart from the stylish factors and designer cloths ,private jets and BMW's the movie has nothing to offer.
The movie lacks substance and the lack of strong story kills any cinema.
As in 'Red Chillies' Sagar alias Jacky -Mohanlal- is an international operator and comes back to Kerala to help Shobhana to rescue her husband.In the rescue mission he kills or overpower all villains of Goa and the 'rest of the world'.
Most boring stuff is the young actress Bhavana, who appears as television news reporter Aarathy Menon,does some investigation to expose Sagar alias Jacky and ends up falling in love with him.
